About The Author

Nick spent years dreaming about writing a book before finally doing it. While he has published a number of short stories, Podwitch is his debut novel and forms the first part of the Guardian Trilogy.

He cites his main influences as Alan Garner, Susan Cooper, Philip Pullman & Neil Gaiman, who he believes have all reached the pinnacle of writing about overlapping worlds.

Nick lives with his wife and son and their cat in South Oxfordshire and often wishes there were more hours in the day.

    Hi Nick,
Congratulations on achieving this goal. it must be most satisfying to look at then end product, especially when you get a copy in your hand! Admire your discipline to reach your goal. I can’t say I’m a frustrated writer, it sounds far too much hard work; poems are my limit.

I work in Sky Studios for SNS in Network Support, so maybe I will bump into you someday.

Once again, congratulations and good luck with this and any future publications.

      Hi John –

Apologies for the late reply. Really appreciate the congrats.

It’s a great feeling to see things happening after working on something for so long – although still very nervous to see how things go. Things have gone well so far, and we’re hoping for news on the print run very soon. If you do get round to reading Podwitch (no pressure!) then please do let me know what you think.

      Thanks again.
